Thisis a piece fromTHIRD STAGE by Poul Anderson. It was featured in theFebruary 1962 issue ofAmazing Stories. Done with pen & ink. It is matted to a 16" x 12 1/8" board and in great condition—artwork is clean and white with normal aging andvery minor glue smudge near center top, the back alsohas some tape/glue residue((SEE SCAN)).

This is a big piecewith Finlay's signature folds/creasing in the in centerfor big pieces(((SEE SCAN))). Paper size measures approximately 10 3/4" x 14 1/4". Artwork is 9 1/2" x 13 1/8".

This piece was purchased from Sotheby New York SIGNED by Virgil Finlay with his address handwritten on lower right hand corner. Inscription of the title on the lowerleft margin.Issue month and publication along with publisher's stamp onupper left hand margin.Other notes on top margin.
