Thisis a piece fromBEYOND THE LINE by William F. Temple. It was featured in theSeptember1964issue of Fantastic Stories of Imagination. Done with pen & ink. It is inexcellent condition—artwork is clean and white with normal aging andthe back has some tape/glue residue.As stated on the top center margin; this is asplit negative. There is a crease down the center of the paper where thesplit is supposed to take place.((PLEASE SEE SCANS)).

This is a big piece depicting one of Finlay'sseductive women.Paper size measures approximately 11"x 14 1/4". Artwork is 9 1/2" x 13 1/4".

This piece was purchased from Sotheby New York SIGNED by Virgil Finlay on lower right hand corner and his address handwritten along with inscription of the title on the lower right margin.Issue month and publication handwrittenon the lower left hand margin.Other notes on top margin.
