Up for sale with is a Fabulous Very Large c1820 Staffordshire Blue & White Pearlware Well and Tree or Turkey Platter. The Platter is one of the finest examples I have seen in years. The Platter features a beautiful Blue on White scene of a Chinese Landscape with People and a Temple. The Platter also features a wide border in a pattern I have never seen before and could not find another example of. The Platter is unmarked as most Staffordshire Pearlware never was but judging by the fine quality I am sure it is by a top period maker. The Platter is in substantially good condition, there is someglazed over flaws to one foot which are all original and a few other small chips to the other footplus some knife marks as well assigns of usebut no cracks or repairs. The Platter is very large and impressive measuring 19-1/4 inches long by 14-3/4 inches wide and sits 2-1/2 inches tall at the raised rim. This is a true beauty and would look fabulous on display or use it to impress your guests !
