You are offerding on a stunning pair of vintage hand painted, bisque figurines by well known french artist, Colbert, as signed on back of each with Colbert\'s distinctivesignature. The craftsmanship, exquisite coloring and attention to details, are standard in her pieces. The figures are of a young boy and girl feeding chickens and chicks. They stand roughly 12\'\' tall and 6.5\'\' wide. They are in lovely, very well cared for, treasured, vintage condition. The paint detail and the figures themselves show minimal to no wear, their facial features sharp and colorful. I find no chips, or repairs, no broken or missing pieces. There is a place on the base of the man that is rough and looks like a hairline crack. I can feel therough edge with my fingernail. However, I think it was a flaw from manufacturing. The reason is the black paint or glaze that was used in that location,completely highlights/follows the crack (see last photo). Thus, I feel it happened before he was painted. It is rare to find this high quality pair together and in such well preserved condition, you won\'t want to miss them! Please see photos for further details, thanks for looking!
