Vtg 1930's Large Celluloid Black Boy On Ostrich Toy Americana Ornament Figure For Sale

OLD VTG Ca 1930's LARGE
CELLULOID BLACK BOY RIDING AN OSTRICH TOY ORNAMENT
FIGURE
This offering is for large
vintage celluloid figure of a Black Boy wearing a grass skirt, red turban and riding a
large ostrich. The figure measures app. 6½" in overall height and is marked "MADE IN
JAPAN" on the bottom. The elastic holding the ostriches legs on has stretched out so
he will no longer stand as he should. There is also what looks like a small ½" split in
the belly from the vent hole that was sealed with what looks like white glue at some
point. This is quite hard to see and harder to photograph but we have added a
close-up of it so you can see it as well as possible. The figure is quite scarce, especially
so in a large size such as this and even more so with the painted surfaces in such
nice condition. The toy or ornament displays great and will make an excellent addition
to someone's collection, shouldn't it be yours!!! If any further assistance is needed
