A vintage, 1950's to early 1960's, faux Leopard Fur Coat or long Jacket. This coat has two pockets and three, fur covered, buttons. There is a label in the back of the neck that reads " Yeager Farms POTTSVILLE, PA." and on one side " KASHAN ORIGINAL Hand Detailed CLEAN BY FURRIER METHOD " (see photos). I tried on this coat and it seems to be about a size 10 to 12 but I will give the measurements to be accurate:
All Measurements Are Approximate
Shoulders: 14 1/2" across (there is another seam that adds another 3" to each side)
Sleeves: 22" long on top
Sleeves: 14" long underneath
Bust: 42" around when Buttoned (measurement taken under arms
Hemline: 48" around when open
Length: 32" long (measurement taken at shoulder seam, next to neck)
This coat is in very good condition with no stains, holes, or tears to the material. It appears that the lining was sewn in by hand. The is a manufacturing flaw where someone put a button hole on the wrong side. It is closed and covered by a button (see photo). There is also a little x mark below the label on the back of the neck (see photo). It has a the slight smell of either cedar or moth balls (I can't tell). Everything looks great on this vintage coat!
