Vtg 1956 Goya G15 Acoustic Classical Guitar 50s Gretsch Martin Sweden Orig Case:
All reasonable offers will be considered! You are offerding on an authentic vintage 1956 Goya classical acoustic guitar. This guitar is in very good condition. The wood is still very solid and is not warped. The neck is straight. It has hairline cracking of the clear finish layer over almost all of the front of the guitar which does not affect the wood and is typical of a guitar of this age. It is missing some of the original strings. The tuning knobs all work. The bridge is firmly attached and in great shape. The only things I could find that would be considered flaws on the guitar are the following: the black plastic trim piece is slightly separated for about 5-6 inches on the back rear edge (see photo #12), there is slight/very shallow chipping on the back side where the neck meets the body (see photo #11), and there is a very small, about 1 inch long, ding in the clear finish layer (not the body wood) on the front lower portion beneath the bridge (see photo #2). Please see all the photos and inspect for yourself. You will also receive the original case. The inside of the case is in excellent condition, the outside is a bit rough, it is beat up around the lower and top edges but the clasps stay shut and it stays closed firmly. There is a main clasp with a locking mechanism and I am missing the key so I have not tried to close this. Unfortunately due to the photo limits on I did not have room for pictures of the case but please contact me if you desire to see details of the case. The serial number and label style dates this guitar to 1956, made in Sweden and imported to the U.S. for Gretsch. See this link for info about the serial number: I understand this is a significant online purchase so please feel free to reach out with any questions you have or let me know if you need any more pictures and I will be happy to provide.I will pack the guitar super safe with tons of bubble wrap around the guitar and inside the case, and the wrap the case inside a large box, so that it reaches you safely. I am located in southern Maine (Cumberland county) and can also do a local pickup if you prefer to pick it up yourself.
