RARE AND ICONIC VINTAGE PIECE!! LARGER SCALE SIZE - PERFECT FOR DAY!!

100% authentic Celine Paris vintage late 70's or early 80's monogram jacquard classic equestrian clutch. GORGEOUS! So off-duty model ~ see my pics of Jacquelyn Jablonski carrying a vintage Celine monogram doctor style bag in between shows! Stunning bag measures 12" at widest point in length, 7 1/2" height, and up to 3 1/3" in depth ~ perfect porportions for day! Soft, somewhat 'padded' feel to the clutch, it is trimmed in chocolate brown studded leather ~ SUPERIOR craftsmanship to this vintage piece! Inside is lined in a classic tartan navy plaid fabric. Magnetized snap closure, small pocket in front, zippered pocket in the back with a "Celine" leather plaque both inside and outside.

No real flaws to the jacquard fabric, although it could use a cleaning due to it's age. Not much wear to the leather trim, but there is SOME - specifically 2 small areas on the front. Also,Please note 2 flaws:

#1 - the straps seem to have been cut off - PICTURE 11 for closeup.

#2 - on the front, near the clasp, a leather 'strap' also seems to have been cut off - PICTURE 16 for closeup. Both of these could be taken to a professional shoe/bag repair to either fully remove the straps, or professionally finish where it was raw cut. I am selling AS IS, because this is how I have received it. This may have been done by a stylist on set to quickly covert it from a handbag to a clutch, I'm not sure.... Wearable and beautiful as is, but if you'd like to invest in some TLC, could be a pristine vintage Celine iconic piece!

This bag were part of the large collection I mention above, used during the late 80's supermodel era for Vogue and Elle editorial shoots. Authenticity of each piece is gauranteed. I've included pics of STREET STYLE INSPIRATION on wearing this oversize day clutch look, most of the bags are actually Celine.
