For your consideration, these Gorgeous, Sophisticated, Nicely Crafted and Signed Vintage 14K Solid Yellow Gold Invisible Set Princess Cut Emerald and Round Brilliant Diamond Tiered Design Stud Pierced Earrings.

Each earring face measures just over approximately 1/2 of an inch, or about 13 millimeters, square and approximately 3/16 of an inch, or approximately 4.7625 millimeters, thick. (The diagonal measurement is the same, high and wide.) Though perfectly accurate measurement of a set stone is nearly impossible, each of the 32 diamonds is approximately 1/16 of an inch, or about 1.585 millimeters, in diameter, for an estimated total carat weight of roughly .96 carats of diamonds. Each of the 8 emeralds is just over approximately 1/16 of an inch, or about 2 millimeters, in diameter, for an estimated total carat weight of roughly .96 carats of emeralds.(I have included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The back of each earring is stamped, \"14K\", and signed, \"ADL\". Each post is also stamped, \"14K\", and signed, \"ADL\". The clutches are each stamped, \"585/14K and signed with an infinity symbol maker\'s mark. Also, these earrings were discreetly acid tested and confirmed to be solid 14K gold. The diamonds were tested with a Mizar DiamondNite. Combined weight is approximately 2.9 grams, which includes the stone weight, of course.

These are vintage earrings, which have been worn and enjoyed. They will have all of the expected surface scratches and tiny dings to the gold, from normal wear. Neither post is perfectly straight, but both are in wearable condition. There are a few chipped emeralds, visible under a 10X loupe, but not readily visible to the naked eye, and all are firm in their settings. I saw no damaged diamonds. The clutches both hold securely. I have cleaned these, but they have not been professionally polished. Please forgive the blotchy and dark reflections of the black camera lens and tripod in the photos.

Shipping: We have decided to change our shipping policy, and no longer include insurance on the less expensive items. (Simply put, if the shipping cost listed is less than $4.30, no insurance is included.) says we have to include it, and we were following that mandate, but other sellers are not. Our buyers have been voting on the issue by leaving us low star ratings on shipping cost, which we simply cannot afford. So, now the shipping cost you see will include delivery confirmation only, no insurance. We just don\'t know what else to do. We encourage you to add insurance, but will make it optional. Let us know if you\'d like to add insurance before you pay, so we may add the cost to your invoice. The USPS charges anywhere from $2.10 and up, depending on the amount insured. When offered, free shipping applies within the US only.
Economy shipping can be SLOW. If you need an item in a short period of time, please request a quote for Priority or Express shipping! The estimated shipping times are estimates only, and we have no control over a package once we have shipped it.
