A very pretty, vintage, lacquered wood slant front desk for a Doll House or Child's Doll Toy. It is made of wood and lacquered in an oriental reddish brown color. It is then hand painted with flowers and gold scrolls. There are two drawers and a brass handle on each. Inside the drawers is finished in black. There are four, turned, legs and metal hardware on the corners above, and below, the bottom drawer. The inside of the desk part is finished in black and the desk surface has handpainted flowers. There are metal hinges to open and close the desk. This lovely old toy measures approximately 7 1/2" high (to the top of the back board) x 5 7/8" across x 3 1/8" wide. It is in good condition with no breaks or repairs but the lacquer finish has loss along the one side (see photo) and only very minimal loss elsewhere.
