Vtg Enamel Art Deco- Circa1910 Dragonfly Brooch 800 Silver With Gold Vermeil N/r For Sale
This is one of my alltime FAVORITE thrift store finds. Found this in Omaha, Nebraska when I took the morning off before business appointments. It reminds me of the pieces I saw in the Art Nouveau/Art Deco Museum in Salamanca, Spain.
This dragonfly is European (800 marking for silver) 1910's Art Deco dragonfly. It is finished with gold vermeil and is enameled (see no missing enamel). The piece measures 45mmX50mm sits 12mm up above the pin closure. There is a hallmark to the piece but I can't read it (see under the 800 mark). Have not cleaned this piece will leave it up to the winner.
LOVE, LOVE this one it is a Hierloom piece for sure.
