I have not tried to clean it in any way. I have been hunting for 92 Polo hats for 20 years, dug through bozillions of crappy hats and never found one….but God doesn’t disappoint. Gearnoize has put a big old buyer beware on this hat. I don't know why and clearly Jude is wrong. Click this link and see for yourself. Also anyone that knows what they are looking at knows what they are looking at. It's no Brooklyn Basement fake and I resent his saying so. />On Feb-12-13 at 08:47:12 PST, seller added the following information:
Hi, why don’t you check with . My dealer name is stacy-4-11 and my name is Laurie. And Please why don’t you post what makes it a fake other than you saying so? Why don’t you point out the tell tale signs of what makes it a bad hat? Chances are you can’t. The guy with the purple summer hat was at the same estate sale I was. He got the purple summer hat, I got the red and green ones, the black one and 2 Respect Wildlife hats and more. The estate sale was in Kent Washington run by David Price out of Tacoma. You should check your facts. Peace right back you mendacious home wrecker . You created a fake person to corroborate your own story. Same email, same ip. C'mon, that's just sketch on top of sketch. -- Peace On Feb 11, 2013 11:53 PM, wrote: Hi, I am getting emails about my hat being fake and I want you to retract that it is fake. I post a link and you take it down. Why are you doing this? Can you just explain why you are calling it a fake? Best score of my life and you are killing me. Please respond. Thanks, Laurie Footnote from Laurie's or Stacy-4-11 or whoever I am pretending to be according to gearnoize - And so the war continues. I can't believe I have to defend this hat on hear say and not facts. My response speaks to my knowledge about clothes and my integrity. Gearnoize can only talk empty talk with nothing to back it up. Sketch on top of sketch alright, and a lot of hot air to blow it all over town.On Feb-12-13 at 12:54:52 PST, seller added the following information:On Feb-13-13 at 21:58:01 PST, seller added the following information:
Please ask Gearnoize to show why they called this hat a fake. I can't fight the rumor that they started and it has turned into quite a monster. Someone, anyone, tell me why is it a fake other than they say so. I know where I got these hats and I know that not one thing in that house was cheap or pirated. I've posted the link to the ad for the estate sale where it came from. Calling my hat bootleg with nothing to back it up is cowardly and has caused a lot of damage. Maybe they have a friend that is offerding and can benefit from all the doubt. So far as I am concerned it's a flat out lie and they refuse to, or cannot prove, it is a fake. Having a bootlicking synchophant argree that this hat is "fugazzi" is not proof. So ask Gearnoize why it's fake or to retract their bogus claim.
