Found in a box of \"treasures\" once belonging to my great aunt. All items in the box were from WWII era or before. I am guessing this card to be from about 1945. Its condition shows some yellowing of the paper, and the glue that once kept the silk backing and decorative padding in place has come loose over the years, and bled through to stain in places. It is in the original box that was intended as a mailer to protect the card. The colors are bright and vivid with the center of the orchid on the front a glorious magenta and the pansies on the front and inside purple and green and bright as the day they were printed.
