Up for sale is a vintage handmade Navajo Kingman turquoise Naja squash blossom necklace. The pendants and squash blossoms are crafted out of sterling silver, but the beads and the wire fashioning the Naja are made of NICKEL SILVER. None of the stones are cracked or broken.

The Kingman mine in northwestern Arizona was one of the largest turquoise mines in North America. The terms "Kingman" or "high blue" refer to the blue color usually displayed in this stone. It has become a color standard in the industry. The mine became famous for its rounded, bright blue nuggets with black matrix. Few turquoise mines produced nuggets, especially of this quality. Old natural Kingman Turquoise is rare.

The necklace measures 21-3/8" long from end to end, and the entire weight is 87.5g. The Naja measures2-1/4" long and 2-1/4" wide, squash blossoms range from 1" long and 1/2" wide to 1-3/16" long and 11/16" wide. The beads measure 1/4" in diameter and are strung on wire with a hook and eye clasp.
