Vtg Signed Silver By Tono Taxco Antonio Pineda Sterling Moonstone Bracelet For Sale
This is a vintage sterling
silver Antonio Pineda moonstone bracelet.
It is marked “SILVER BY TONO TAXCO” with the eagle 17 mark on the inside, this mark was used from 1945 to 1948 – see pictures. It measures approx.
7-3/8 inches long not including the insert part of the clasp, and 7/8 inch
wide. The moonstones each measure
approx. 6mm by 10mm across. The
bracelet is thick and heavy. It has a
medium amount of surface scuffs and scratches.
The clasp closes securely with a nice snap. The moonstones do not have any chips or nicks. The pins holding the hinges together have
shifted slightly over the years and feel rough if you run your fingers over
them – see up close pictures. It weighs
57 grams.
