This sale is for a vintage sterling silver pill box or snuff box. This has a beautiful purple cabochon on the top of it and is marked sterling silver mexico ay8 hechho on the bottom. There are a couple of dents in the box and one by the hinge that keeps it from staying completly closed. It will close but pops up 1/4\" . This would probably be easy to work out the dent and it would work just fine.
