VTG WHITMAN GAME OF OLD MAID PLAYING CARDS 1920S ERA DOUGHBOY BLACK AMERICANA:
$100.00

This is a vintage deck of Old Maid playing cards by Whitman Publishing Co. I don\'t know the age but I would guess it is in the early 1900s, sometime from WWI to the decade after, since one pair of cards is titled \"Doughboy Dolph\" and another is \"Flapper Fan\". There are also two pairs of \"black Americana\" titled \"Mandy Lou\" and \"Mose Snow\". The Old Maid card picture includes a parrot on a perch. Other titled pairs are:
Benjamin Freak Percy Tusk Lena Wile Helda Sponge Sailor Al. K. Hall Tiny Rocks Weary Willie Copper Mike Dirty Dick Otto Knott Rudolf Sheik Pop Whosit Axel Grease Ferdinand Swain Hinky Dink Hobart Bean Hiram Squash

This deck is complete with 21 pairs + the Old Maid card. Also included is the \"Rules\" card and an advertising card for Whitman\'s card games. The box is original but in disrepair with tears. The pictures on the cards are in black and white with red borders and blue back. The cards are in good but used condition.
