V.unusual And Early Genuine Antique Bristol Blue Small Wine Or Ale Glass:
This saleis for a beautiful and early little antique Bristol blue small wine or ale glass.
Dating to the 18thC.
Gorgeous little shape, very simple and elegant, with a snapped pontil to the underside.
The glass is deep genuine 'Bristol blue' which is almost purple.
Lots of wear to the underside foot.
Measures 7.8cm tall.
Its in wonderful condition with no damage at all, the only thing I would point out is that there is an unusual manufacturing feature to the inside of the bowl which is not apparent to the exterior other than a slight swirl in the glass - of course not damage in anyway, see last pic where I have shown it by holding it upto the light.
I am selling another of these glasses and also really exceptional large tazza from the same job so please see my other items.
Buyer will be delighted.
Please see my other antiques.
International buyers are very welcome.
** Unless otherwise shown in the postage & payments details for most UK mainland purchases we useCollect+ which is a very reasonably priced fully tracked courier service delivered by Yodel. If you would not like your purchase delivered by courier we can still use Royal Mail but of course there may be a price difference - if that is the case please get in contact after the sale ends and I can re-invoice you to your specification. All overseas postage is still delivered by Royal Mail or Couriers.
