Very nice mid to late 18th century officer's eppie wearing strong working blade of oval cross section with a deep but narrow blood
groove to each side running about third of the length, blade showing heavy but smooth patina throughout and has retained perfectly sharp edges. Mounted with a brass heart-guard hilt which shows extensive smooth patina with few minor scratches and age wear. Solid and overall in battle ready condition.overall 35" blade 28 1/2"
