Very Nice 17th C. Excavated German Solingen Marked Naval Cutlass / Pirate Sword:

Nice early cutlass in most likely excavated but solid condition, exhibiting areas of heavy pitting and steel deterioration throughout the steel blade and hilt mounts, having well preserved deeply struck Solingen markings to either side of the blade with a running wolf symbol typical of early Solingen blades. Solid overall having a wire wrapped grip which is possibly silver according to its slightly better state of preservation compare to the rest of the sword (possibly a later restoration). overall 30" blade 25".Please note that the seemingly high shipping charges in our sales are often lower than the actual cost of the shipping, and Always include a Full Value insurance on Every item.
