Very Old Christmas Ornament, Large SANTA, Flat Dresden :

Very old flat Dresden Ornament, a large Santa, embossed golden surface and colours in dark-red, green and matt white for the fur trim of the coat. The beard is sprinkled with mica. Santa brings a lot of toys. In his hand he holds a Punch.
The figure measures about 10 inch tall ( ca. 25 ½ cm). There are a few small old repairs on the back side and some wear of age. The Punch has lost one arm. Considering the age, the condition is really good, please see the pictures. The thin cardboard is slightly curved, it is not totally flat.
The Santa has an embossed signature in the lower left corner: C.H.
A very rare ornament.
