Two Women in White Gowns

This large, lovely and very rare Royal Copenhagen figurine depicts two women, possibly sisters, in identical long white gowns with rolled and braided hair, slightly bent over together and looking at something while listening intently.

They measure 10-1/2\" tall.

This figurine was purchased in Denmark years ago; the original price sticker, in kroners, was K8500, which equates to $1,247.00 USD.

It is stamped on the base as shown below, and dates to pre-1910.

There is a single scratch through the waves. I believe this may be due to a tiny firing dot near the neckline of the woman at left.

This elegant figurine is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks.
