Very Rare Original 1952 Eisenhower Campaign Car Speakers I Like Ike loudspeakers
I picked this up at a estate sale from Fort Dodge, IA
The university loudspeakers date from 1952 and I think the sticker or decals date from 1952 also
I think this was used in 1952 to campaign for Eisenhower in Iowa but it could also have been used for the election 1956 or in other states
The speaker drivers do not work and are just for display right now. If you want a working set you will need to have the drivers repaired or replaced. The drivers are the items that screw on the rear end of loudspeakers and can be seen removed in pic 14
Condition has scrapes, scratches, dings, dents and other wear.
Measures about 48" long as seen in pic 2
The speaker bell measures about 20" dia
I don't think that many of these still exist and this may be the only one left.
