Hi, Selling this absolutely stunning and very rare Russian Solid silver (88) Novelty Pill box in its original case featuring a wonderfully detailed Bulldogs head with bone teeth and ruby/glass eyes. As its a quality luxurious item it will probably be ruby eyes but i dont know how to check stones. Its also done in engine turned enamel and very much as the same quality as a faberge piece. It has the first Kokoshnik marks (1896-1908) with 88 sterling silver mark and i cannot make out the smaller city mark and makers mark i believe AM but i cannot find the maker, Its hallmarked on the silver gilt colar and also inside both top and bottom silver gilt insides. It is in Excellent condition with no damages at all that i can see and screws tightly shut, I think it has probablt been kept in its case since new.It measures 58mms and weighs roughly 75g and hallmarked in 3 places as shown. This is an absolute must for any collection and displays really really well.
