A very rare and scarce Scottish provincial solid silver tea spoon by John Keith.
Known for his his work in Banff this spoon is struck with tinkers marks which can be found on page 92 & 113 of Richard Turners Scottish Provincial Silversmith & Their Marks.
Oar pattern with shoulders to the bowl. Initialedto the terminal.
Condition: Very good , no splits or repairs. Typical age related wear, small scratches to the surface , minor nicks/ chips. Nothing outstanding. Nice example.
Hallmarks: Struck with makers mark IK, Tree , V & anchor mark.
