A Rare German Meissen Figure
Beautiful peasant woman with a spinning wheel. This piece is the original mold made posible by Marcollini and very scarce item. The quality of the decoration is typicalfrom the late 18th century aerly 19th. The crossed swordswith the star mark, locatedthis piece approximately between 1795and 1815.
Marcolini work for Meissen between 1780 and 1814, the marks from this time was a swords crossed in the first stage with a star and after 1800 under the swords with the number I and II until 1814.The quality decorated and detail is extraordinary, please see each of the pictures (do clip on the photo to enlarge and see every detail) And if you can compare with other Meissen copies made ??during the late 19th century to see the remarkable deference.
Condition: the spinning wheel legslook restored you cansee in thephotos of the spinning wheel. this restoration is a very good manufacturing and very old. the rest of the piece does not blow or break (see photo). The Head look well Some broken flower hat leaves almost not seen, hands are perfect, and clothing as well as the seals you can see they are well (please see large photos for details). Sold as it.
