A real piece of Japanese antiquity! An original Kokeshi doll made in the early 1930s. Handmade and hand-painted, as is certified by the original signature on the bottom of the doll. Its age and originality is also confirmed by the unique concentric circles on top of the head of the doll. The doll itself represents a young boy with a haircut typical for early 20th century, symbol of youth and prosperity. The doll is hand-painted and hand-lacquered, and made out of full wood.It is almost unscathed by age, save for a couple of light scratches.
This rare collector\'s item is of excellent worth.
