Here I am offering a Victor R, a.k.a. Victor Royal, from about 1903. This machine plays great. It has the original record hold down, which is a rarity itself. The machine is all original with the exception of the tonearm and tonearm hardware and the crank escutcheon. The crank is a new repro. The reproducer is a long throat Exhibition, however the long throat connector was made new. The Exhibition reproducer is original. The horn is original but was repainted. There is a line near the top (see photo) where something was used to repair a seam in the paint, I think. See pics for details.The motor is strong and very nice, and the cabinet is nice too. The oxidized metal parts are very nice.
