Victor Victrola VV 2-60 Portable Phonograph Talking Machine 1927:
$159.00

This model has the blue case and is frankly kind of sticky but no rips or tears. Handle, as you can see, is missing. The turntable cranks up and runs well. The controls for speed and start/stop seem to work.

Includes 6 double sided records (as shown) with such hits as \"Anchors Aweigh\" and \"How you gonna keep them down on the farm\" plus many others.

It was my wife\'s grandparents - has been in the family (closet) since then.

From the Victor site:

The VV 2-60 was a premium portable model introduced in 1927. It featured gold plated hardware, a wood case covered with a fabric material available in a blue or brown textured covering. Like the VV 1-6, it used a No. 4 Soundbox and a single spring motor. The 2-60 was discontinued in 1928. It did not feature Orthophonic reproduction.

The original 1927 selling price of the VV 2-60 was $40.00. An estimated total of 60,000 Victrola 2-60\'s were produced.

Shipping will be close to actual - maybe $20 or $30 for UPS ground. I don\'t know anything about international shipping.

NOTE: On vacation until Friday, September 2. If item is purchased and paid for, I can ship it then. Thanks!
