Description
This is an Interesting Antique Scent Bottle. It is circular in shape and made from porcelain with a solid silver cap. One side of the bottle shows Queen Victoria's head and VICTORIA R 1837 and 1887. So it must celeberate Queen Victoria's 50 years on the throne. The reverse shows a rose, thistle and shamrock. The sides are printed with"CANADA-AUSTRALIA and INDIA" with a registration number. Hallmarks for the silver cap are for London 1886 and maker S.M.
Bottle measures approx.1½ inches in diameter.
Condition:-Silver cap is good. Slight crazing to the glaze and discolouration on the porcelain around the cap {see photo's} otherwise it is quite good condition for its age.
