14k Yellow Gold, Natural Carved Agate

This vintage ring will add the perfect, unique touch to any jewelry collection! The carved cameo ring is an original Victorian era piece,and is circa 1870\'s to 1880\'s. The face showcases a wonderfully carved piece of natural agate. The background agate is black, while the bust has been carved into the white layer of stone. This contrast allows the cameo to show up nicely, and adds an impressive visual effect to this lovely ring. The carving is of the side profile of a well dressed man with curly hair and a ruffled shirt. The detailing is nicely done, and the carving has held up very well over the years. The agate is securely bezel set in a polished 14kyellow gold mount, and the setting tapers down to meet with the band. The sides of the ring are accented with fluted, open cut designs, nicely showcasing the center cameo. The back of the ring is solid, and the smooth finish ensures a comfortable fit. This piece has been professionally tested for 14k gold purity composition. Please note, there is a small chip in the top left corner of the agate, as can be seen in the enlarged photographs. However, this in no way distracts from the beauty and classic vintage quality of this piece. This ring weighs5.9 grams. The face measures13/16\" (20.3mm)tall and has a table height of11/32\" (8.5mm). This ring is asize 8 3/4,but it can be re-sized up or down 3 sizes for a $20 fee.Once a ring is re-sized, we guarantee the work but we are unable to offer a refund on the sizing.Contact for sizing up or down more than three sizes.
