This Civil War era gown is made from a dusty peach shade of silk faille. The bodice / jacket is lined in cotton with bones in the seams and it buttons down the front with covered buttons. Ot has a darker shade of pleated ruffles around the neck and bottom, it has dropped armhole seams with self piping in the armholes. The bodice is in good condition, other than the underarms which are badly damaged and sleeves. It measures 37 inches around the bust, waist is 27 and it\'s 18 inches from shoulder to center front bottom. The skirt is splitting, it\'s lined with a polished cotton and is trimmed with ecru tulle. The tulle probably was ivory at one time, it\'s in fair condition, but dingy, the skirt has some stains and splitting and is in poor condition, the lining is ok. There\'s ties at the waist, it measures up to 29 inches around the waist, hips are full and it\'s 39 1/2 inches long in front falling to a train in back. AS IS for salvage.
