Beautiful Art Nouveau style, gold earrings. These earrings are a marriage. The Mucha style woman\'s face with hair tendrils is 14k yellow gold and marked 14k. Based on the earring back I believe that they are 1940\'s. The coral drops are older ( Victorian) and capped in scalloped18k (tested not marked)rose gold (one of the coral drops has a small drill hole in the bottom so was probably without a cap in a previous life). The corals drops are well matched to the coral side beads though the drilled drop bead is slightly darker. The earrings measure 2 1/16th inches ( 53mm) long from top to bottom. The coral drops with the caps are, from the top of the cap ring to the bottom of the coral, 1 1/8th inches ( 28.5mm) long and 6.5 mm in diameter; the coral side beads are 4.5mm in diameter, the woman\'s 14k gold head measures 22mm wide at it\'s widest point and 24.5 mm from top to bottom. The closures are clip with a post which are perfect for these heavier earrings. One of the posts has a slight bend as can be seen in photo 6but it does not interfere with wearing. The earrings weigh in total 15.03 grams.
Regarding the color of coral - I do not tint my photos but monitors will look different. These corals are a nice rich salmon orange color. They are not dyed and exhibit a fine grain.This item gets shipped via priority mail.
