Victorian Etruscan Revival 14k Gold Mediterranean Salmon Coral Rose Brooch For Sale
This is an exquisite antique Victorian Etruscan Revival coral brooch set in 14K yellow gold with a C clasp and needle. It features 3 extremely intricately and vividly carved genuine and natural Mediterranean coral roses in tender even salmon color. 3 oval pieces are connected to create a dangling effect.The Etruscan revival pieces are characterized by their extremely fine dotted patterns which have become a lost art. Tested to be solid 14K yellow gold. In great antique condition. For further details, please refer to all images carefully prior to offerding. This is a good old 19th century Victorian piece.
The brooch measures 3" long x 1-3/8" wide (at its widest part). The 3 oval 14K gold pieces with coral roses measure 1-3/8" x 1-1/8", 7/8" x 5/8" and 13/16" x 5/8" respectively. The 3 carved coral roses alone measure 7mmx 7mm, 9mm x 8mm and 16mm x 15mm respectively. It weighs 10.8 grams.
