Victorian Ladies' Hoops And Bustle- C.1880's - #1:
This sale is for one of 6 sets of women's dress hoops and bustles that I have listed this week. This one dates to the 1880s and has a great bustle, a period repair, and the owner's name written on the waistband that reads “Dominica”. It is shown on a mannequin with a 25” waist, and as seen in the photos, it can be larger. PLEASE look at all pictures and ask questions if you are unsure of anything. The winning buyer pays for priority mail shipping and delivery confirmation from zip code 13502. Unfortunately, because of the size of the parcel, Priority Mail may be costly. I will combine shipping on multiple sales. I also ship internationally. If you are an international buyer, please email me prior to the end of the sale if you would like to know shipping costs. Otherwise, I will provide an invoice at sale end with options for shipping. Many of the items I list may not have been stored properly with their previous owners. Therefore, they may have storage odors or musty smells. Please see all of my photos and ask ANY questions before offerding. I describe these items to the best of my ability, but if something seems unclear, please ASK. Please also realize that vintage items are seldom perfect. Many of the items I have are very old, therefore, I am selling them “AS IS” and WILL NOT GIVE REFUNDS ON VINTAGE CLOTHING OR TEXTILES. Please be aware of this when you offer. Thanks so much for looking! On Jul-18-13 at 08:40:36 PDT, seller added the following information:
Unfortunately the parcel that the hoops will ship in will be large. The US postal service charges more when a package measures over a certain amount. The alternative is squishing the hoops into a smaller box which will most certainly cause irreversible damage. If you are interested in cheaper shipping, please contact me and I can see what the post office will charge for standard shipping. I have calculated this for other people who have shown interest and it is still costly, but a bit cheaper than Priority Mail. Sorry for the inconvenience.
