UP FOR sale IS A BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN PICKLE CASTOR WITH AN L.G.WRIGHT PINK \"MAIZE\" JAR.THIS CASTOR IS 11 1/4\" TALL.THE JAR IS A FENTON FOR L.G.WRIGHT MAIZE OR CORN JAR. IT IS IN THE GLOSSY STYLE WITH A HINT OF A BEAUTIFUL IRIDESCENCE. THIS JAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION WITH NO DAMAGE. THE LID FITS VERY WELL AND THE JAR FITS PERFECTLY IN THE FRAME. THE FRAME\'S SKIRT, CROWN AND LID AS WELL AS THE FINIAL, ALL HAVE FORGET-ME-NOTS AS THE DOMINANT FLOWER ON THIS PICKLE CASTOR.THE FRAME WAS MADE BY THE BRISTOL SILVER PLATE CO. AND IS QUADRUPLE PLATE. OUR RESEARCH INDICATES THAT THE BRISTOL SILVER COMPANY BOASTED 50% MORE SILVER ON THEIR PLATE WARES THAN ANY OTHER COMPANY DID, DURING THE VICTORIAN ERA.THE CROWN, LID AND TONGS ARE ORNATE WITH AESTHETIC DECOR.IN OVERALL VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR THE AGE WITH, LIGHT WEAR ON THE PLATING, PLEASE SEE PHOTOS FOR YOUR SATISFACTION ON CONDITION.
