Lord\'s Prayer carved in wood in a Victorian manner, and framed in a beautiful wood frame. Relief is about 1/4\" deep. The whole piece is about two feet by three feet. Antique. From the Victorian time period. Nicely framed. Highly artistic personal rendition of the \"Our Father\" prayer of Christian faith: \"OUR FATHER, who art in HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME, THY KINGDOM COME, THY WILL BE DONE, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN. GIVE US TODAY OUR DAILY BREAD, AND FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES, FORGIVE THEM THAT TRESPASS AGAINST US, for thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory AMEN.\" Missing are the letters: e from the word Done, N from the word \"ON\", I from the word \"In\", F from the word \"forgive\". Interesting assortment of crosses, stars, columns, a dome, angels, lotus flowers. This appears to be a unique item. I am sure it is rare. I bought it from an old man on 14th Street in NYC around 1986 who was selling off the last of his goods on a card table...The frame is a 3.5 inch deep walnut with a gold inner border, all in good condition.
