This is an absolutely charming carved bone miniature desk from the mid to late Victorian era. It measures approx. 2-7/8” wide X 3”tall X 1 3/8” deep. Contained on its red velvet desktop are a carved bone book, inkwells on a tray, pen, ruler, envelope and what I consider might be a “love letter”. One drawer opens, but the other seems to have been glued shut, or never did open, as it looks to fit very tight. It has reeded panels on the sides and finely turned legs I loved having it displayed in my cabinet with the early wooden dolls in my other listings.

We are a non-smoking home.
