An another little time traveller from days when good quality was the standard, not a luxury.
From days, when the straight razor was an essential part of personal belonging of almost every adult man, whether civilian or soldier.A nice vintage high quality Sheffield steel straight razor over 160 years old.
On the tang is written JOHNSON and company logo \"Hammer and Stars\".
This razor was made by once renown Sheffield company George Johnson & Co, which was founded 1815 and working until first decade of 20th century.
Wedge blade razor is in good condition, no chips and cracks on the blade, only some dark spots and pitting.
Razor has a horn scales in very good condition with some scratches.
Closed 4/8 razor is 16.3 cm long.Razor will need honing to get shave ready.
