Van Briggle has been making pottery continuously since 1901. Befor starting Van Briggle Pottery, Artus Van Briggle was a major decorator for the world famous Rookwood Pottery in Ohio.For the years 1919, 1920, and 1921, Van Briggle used a \"19\" or \"20\" or \"21\" to date their pots.This almost antique 1920 Van Briggle pot features the Van Briggle \"AA\" logo and \"VAN BRIGGLE\" in all caps along with \"20\" incised on the bottom.
