Vintage 1920's Native American Skookum 11" Doll W/Papoose~Straw & Composition

Just got back from a visit up north to see my mom and picked up this cool old Skookum doll & an old souvenir birch bark canoe which I am offering in another sale. Unusual odd size; measures 11" long. Very good condition; compo face is very clean on mother and baby. The body is stuffed with excelsior (straw) and the feet are wrapped with hand painted suede moccasins. Wrapped in a wool hand dyed colorful blanket. Sweet native bead necklace completes the look. Sticker is missing from bottom of foot but I think this is a Bully Good Skookum. The only issue I see is that there is some straw visible below the baby's chin. The doll was purchased with the canoe which comes from One thousand Islands which lies partly in the US bordering New York and Canada. The Seneca Indian reservation is about one hour north of St Marys. Please make sure you check out the canoe, if you win both I'll ship the second for free. Low starting offer does not reflect what I paid or worth but sure is more fun that way.
