Vintage 1930\'s - Black Americana \" SHOE SHINE BOY \" Animated Shelf Clock manufactured by the LUX Clock Mfg. Co. Waterbury, Conn. It measures 3 3/4\" x 3 3/4\" and has a metal stand that folds out in the back. When found it was not running and we are not clock experts so you may need to have a clock maker take a closer look to get it working again. We checked the internet and found out that the arm and brush on the shoe shine boy move back and forth as the clock ticks away. The litho characters seem to be nearly perfect with little fading in color if at all. We did find out that this example is one of the rarest models to find anymore and should make an excellent addition for anyone\'s collection of Black Americana or animated clocks.
