Up for offer today is this special 1930\'s Cloth doll. I was told by the lady at the estate salethat he is from the Charles Dickenson series - Oliver Twist, made by Madame Alexander. He measures 15\"tall. He has a pressed mask face of suede cloth or felt with scrapes on his nose and marks on his face;painted side glancing blue eyes; body has some spots on front but is in good condition;blond hair is thinon bangsbut he wears a woolstreet capandwoolbritches, crocheted beige vest and red shirt; andbrushed velvet black shoes. The wool clothes have insect bitesin them over the years- especially the cap.I don\'t know if his outfit is original, no tags, butthey sure are cute.He is in good condition for his age.
