Vintage 1930's Art Nouveau Deco Emerald Green Glass Enamel Necklace For Sale

Vintage 1930's Art Nouveau Deco Emerald Green Glass Enamel Necklace This sale is for a very full and striking, Art Deco emerald glass necklace, that is from the 1930's.This piece is a darker silvertone measuring 15" long, is 1" wide at its widest point, and closes securely with an older spring ring clasp that is not original to the piece (it's marked sterling). This piece is unique for its design with lots of colorful glass that frames the neck strikingly when worn. Each pendant has a pretty filigree top that is accented with white enamel and has a thick triangle of glass in a deep emerald green color. The glass is open at the back and faceted on both sides so there is a lot of depth in color and refraction to the glass. The glass has some surface wear and chipping - the chips that are larger are at the back of the stones at the tips of the cabochons and are noticeable at the front of the necklace only upon very very close inspection but not as the piece is worn. There are a few small nicks and chips to the front of the glass but it is modest an noticeable on inspection. The glass has a nice sheen and smooth surface with fresh facets that are very refractive. The enamel is very bright, contrasting nicely with the emerald glass, and has very little thinning or chipping - it is 95% intact. The silvertone has a nice patina with very little darkening or discoloration. Overall this is a very full and striking, Art Deco emerald glass necklace, that is from the 1930's and is in Very good condition.
