Vintage 1931 Martin 2-17 parlor guitar, s/n 45678.
The 2-17 was Martin’s first guitar designed for steel as well as gut strings. It was the guitar used by the legendary Jimmie Rogers. For more background on the 2-17 go to http://217.dougschmude.net/
This guitar is all original (except I’m not sure of the bridge pins) and has not been modified or refinished so it has some scratches and one small dent on the top of the body. The only possible repair looks to be a reglued bridge although it is difficult to tell. The neck is absolutely straight and firmly attached to the body. All of the glued joints in the neck, body, and bracing are tight and there are no cracks in the faceplate. Currently the nut is a bit low so a few strings buzz on the 1st fret. This should be shimmed to your taste so it has been left alone. All of the frets are in very good shape. This comes with the new hard shell case shown in the photos.
