Vintage 1932~1933 E. Ingraham Alarm Clock Model A219 Deco Skyscraper Electric:
Vintage 1933 E. Ingraham electric alarm clock, model A219.Clock works great, runs quietly, keeps accurate time, and the ringing brass alarm bell works, too. Solid wood mahogany case with three solid mahogany stepped panels on each side and solid mahogany ribbed base. Original finish, some light surface scratches, aging and few small dings, actually displays better looking than the pictures. Date stamped 12/32 in the wood on the bottom. The round convex glass dial lens is good, no cracks. The gold plated bezel surround is worn, scratches. Metal dial face, off white number ring and center on silvered dial face, black numbers and hands, brass smooth sweep seconds hand. The red dot power signal above the 6 works, you manually set it to white with the flick of the small shaft at the lowest rear left knob,it will flip to red if there's a power loss. The clock will run again when power is restored, but the red dot stays red, letting you know that the time might be wrong due to the power failure. The alarm hand sets turning the upper left knob clockwise, then pull outward on the top center knob to have the alarm ring at the set time, push it back in to stop the alarm. The time is set by the lower left knob counterclockwise.Measures 6-1/16 wide at the base, 5-5/8 inches tall to the center peak, 2-13/16 inches deep plus the curved dial glass.Shipping weight 3 pounds
