Vintage 1939~1944 Telechron Alarm Clock 7h121 Serene Cobalt Blue Halo:
Vintage 1939~1944 Telechron electric alarm clock, model 7H121, the "Serene".Clock works great, runs with a faint rotor hiss and keeps accurate time, and the alarm bell/buzzer works, too.Brass case with original ivory color paint with scratches in the paint and a crack at the left side of the thin brass "can" back cover, typical for this design, does not effect the structure nor operation. The base is painted plastic to match. The blue translucent plastic halo looks good, no cracks nor chips, some light surface scratches barely noticeable. Brass dial bezel surround looks good. The round convex glass dial lens is good, no cracks, off-white dial face discolored and spotty but not flaking, dark brown numbers and hands, brass smooth sweep seconds hand. The red dot power signal works, sets it to white after plugging it in and pulling outward on the time set knob, it will flip to red if there's a power loss. The clock will run again when power is restored, but the red dot stays red, letting you know that the time might be wrong due to the power failure. The alarm sets and rings accurately. Good newer but vintage power cord with molded GE plug.Measures 6-1/8 wide, 7-1/8 inches tall, 3-1/4 inches deep at the base.Shipping weight 3 poundsSee my Other Items and combine items to save on shipping costs
