Vintage 1940s - 50s Chinese Sterling Silver Filigree Vermeil Carnelian Bracelet
This sale is for a finely made and striking, sterling silver and natural Carnelian bracelet, that was made in China during the 1940's - 50's.This piece is marked "silver" on the back of the hidden push clasp that works securely, the setting tests positive for sterling, and has a bright golden vermeil finish. The bracelet measures 7" long, it is 3/4" wide at its widest point, and is 1/2" thick at its thickest point. The bracelet is well made with a substantial weight and feel at 54 grams. The bracelet has finely wrought filigree panels that are in a detailed flower and scroll design that are raised and frame natural Carnelian stones. The Carnelian measures 3/4" at its widest point, the stones are thick and domed in shape, and are open at the back so they have a rich and beautiful orangey/red glow. There are no chips to the Carnelian and the surfaces are smooth and gleaming without any surface wear. The vermeil finish is bright and golden with very little wear and is a pretty compliment to the color of the Carnelian. There are no irregularities to the silver, no signs of solder or repair, and there are no dents or breaks to the filigree. Overall this is a finely made and striking, sterling silver and natural Carnelian bracelet, that was made in China during the 1940's that is in Excellent condition.
