Vintage 1940's Art Deco Lapis Glass Flower Cluster Necklace For Sale

Vintage 1940's Art Deco Lapis Glass Flower Cluster Necklace This sale is for a colorful and charming, lapis glass flower cluster necklace, that is from the 1940's.This piece is glass measuring 17 1/2" long with the lapis glass beads graduating in size from 3/4" in diameter in front down to 5mm in back. The necklace closes securely with an older spring ring clasp and jump ring but I'm not sure if its original to the piece (its marked Czechoslov). This piece is unique for the size and coloring of the blue glass beads that are made to simulate Lapis and the colorful glass flower pendants that are in clusters at the front of the necklace. The flowers are in pretty and a large variety of colors that measure a bit larger than 1/4" in diameter at its widest point. I'm not sure how many flowers are missing (there are definitely flowers missing) but there are at the most five flowers in between each bead (I would guess there were five or maybe six flowers at the most originally) so there are at the very least - four flowers missing. There is one flower that is significantly chipped, which you can see in one of the photos, and there are more with tiny nibbles along the edges of the glass but no more that have true chips. The lapis glass beads are very full with pretty speckling that contrasts nicely with the colors of the flowers. There is one 2mm in diameter chip to one Lapis glass bead (next to the center bead) but it is a very surface chip and noticeable mainly on close inspection and because it shows white underneath. There are no other chips the Lapis glass beads. This necklace was re-strung at some point but it was a long time ago and I would recommend re-stringing it again as its a single strand and the necklace has a substantial weight so the piece could be vulnerable as is. Overall this is a colorful and charming, Lapis glass flower cluster necklace, that is from the 1940's and is in very good condition.There are many more beautiful pieces up for sale this month so please view my other items for the full selection.Shipping
