Vintage 1940s Brown Duck CARHARTT Riveted Work jacket. Hard to find earlier tag without the 'sanforized' logo and with the Larger size Carhartt Buttons in front. Riveted pockets and cuffs. Four pockets with one upper watch and pencil pocket and one flap pocket. One inside pocket with Union Tag. Adjustable cuffs. Factory workers Brass Number ID tag on front. Great honest-wear patina to the jacket. Some nice fading and soiling including a fade 'shadow' showing it was worn under overalls. A few very small holes and slight fraying to the cuffs but nothing beyond honest work wear. Size large and measures 25 3/4 across the chest and 20 1/2 across the shoulders.
